Congress complaint leads to EC directive: "BJP's video targeting muslims to be removed"
Bhopal witnessed a sudden spike in COVID-19 cases as five individuals tested positive for the virus in a single day. This marks the highest daily count in almost two years, with the last such occurrence reported in December 2021. Currently, eight active COVID-19 cases are recorded in the capital, where two patients have been admitted to the hospital due to respiratory issues, while two others have been discharged.
The patients who tested positive had previously received two doses of the Covishield vaccine. Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari emphasized that the detected variant is not highly dangerous, and patients typically recover within four to five days.
Despite the relatively mild nature of the variant, Dr. Tiwari urged the public to remain vigilant, emphasizing the importance of wearing masks, using sanitizers, maintaining social distance, and seeking medical attention if symptoms arise.
